Phenomenal Trout Fishing Day at Collins Lake, CA

Once again, it was an incredible day of fishing with PhatDogFishing. It was my first time fishing at beautiful Collins Lake, CA. For the first hour of trolling using 1-inch Gulp Berkley worms, we did not get any bites. However, upon switching to top water trolling Rapalas at between 100 - 120 feet back, putting Hot Ticket Lures using down riggers to ten feet depth at 65 feet back, and trolling at 2.7 mph, we were having a fantastic trout fishing day.
