One man hurt after stabbing in Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - One man was hurt after Fargo Police say he was stabbed Tuesday night. Police say shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Prairiewood Cir. S. where they found a man with a stab wound.
Fargo man faces arson, terrorizing, domestic violence charges
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A Fargo man faces arson, terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, and other felony charges after a domestic situation, Monday. Fargo Police say they were called to an apartment complex at 901 42nd St. S for a reported domestic violence situation with a knife. When they got there, a woman said Christopher Plentychief had thrown her around, hit her multiple times, choked her, threatened her with a knife, and dumped lighter fluid around the apartment she was in. A witness attested to much of that information, as well.
Two dead in kayaking incident in Sheyenne River at Fort Ranson, ND
FORT RANSOM, N.D. (KFGO) – The Ransom County Sheriff’s Office says the bodies of two kayakers have been recovered from the Sheyenne River at Fort Ransom. First responders were called out shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday on a report that the kayakers had launched north of Fort Ransom and were supposed to meet the rest of their family at Sportsman Landing but they never arrived at the meeting point. The family then spotted two kayaks below the dam and called 911.
Headmaster for Capstone Classical Academy reports forward progress on construction of new campus
(Fargo, ND) — The headmaster at Capstone Classical Academy says construction of the school’s new campus in south Fargo is proceeding according to schedule. “When I stand in this space I just think about I just praise God for the people of Fargo who saw the vision and agreed with us, because that’s why it’s here. The people who run Capstone everyday couldn’t have built this,” said Paul Fisher.
