Eagles’ Upset Bid Thwarted By West Fargo
FARGO – It could have been a huge upset for the Jamestown Eagles. Instead, West Fargo broke the Eagles’ hearts. Caleb Anderson hit a winning two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning Tuesday for a 6-5 win for West Fargo over Jamestown in the AA Legion State Tournament at Starion Bank Field in Fargo.
Mosquito Fogging This Week in Jamestown
There will be more mosquito fogging in Jamestown starting Wednesday. Crews will spray the city through Thursday to fight higher-than-usual mosquito populations due to the recent wet weather. Fogging will be on the west side of Jamestown on Wednesday, the eastern sections sprayed on Thursday. Fogging will begin each day at 9:00 p.m. and last through the overnight. Crews are prepared to reschedule if storms or wind become a factor. Jamestown residents are advised to stay indoors and keep pets and kids away from the fogging at all times.
