Headmaster for Capstone Classical Academy reports forward progress on construction of new campus
(Fargo, ND) — The headmaster at Capstone Classical Academy says construction of the school’s new campus in south Fargo is proceeding according to schedule. “When I stand in this space I just think about I just praise God for the people of Fargo who saw the vision and agreed with us, because that’s why it’s here. The people who run Capstone everyday couldn’t have built this,” said Paul Fisher.
The sky’s the limit for the Fargo Airsho
(KFGO) – Fargo AirSho 2024 is now history. There were thousands of attendees for two days of the AirSho at Hector International Airport. The event included the return of the Navy’s Blue Angles. It also included daring pilots and powerful planes. AirSho Co-chairman Steve Blazek said the AirSho was “incredible” and they have never had that many people fill the airfield.

Jamestown City Council Will Decide on Participation in Red River Water Project
The Jamestown City Council will decide if the city of Jamestown will participate in a state project to bring Missouri River water to communities in eastern and central North Dakota. The Red River Valley Water Supply Project will provide an emergency water supply to central eastern North Dakota during times of drought, according to the project’s website. The project will also provide an additional supply of industrial water that exceeds the current supply. The Stutsman Rural Water District Board of Directors recently decided to opt out of the Red River Valley Water Supply Project. The Jamestown City Council is expected to discuss if it will participate in the project at its meeting on Monday, Aug. 5, at City Hall.
United Way of Cass-Clay Reaches Its Backpack Goal, Distribution is This Week
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — United Way of Cass-Clay has reached its goal of 6,000 backpacks and now its almost time to start handing out those school supplies. More than 100 volunteers have signed up to pack backpacks with paper, pens and everything a kid will need to head back to school.
