Real estate commission rule change to impact consumers starting Aug. 17
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Real estate agent commission rules are changing and will go into effect Saturday. It especially impacts people buying a home. “Whenever buyers are looking to purchase a home now, prior to them even seeing houses, they will be required to meet with their realtor and engage in a written buyer-broker agreement,” said Robert Bartshe, president of Sierra Nevada Realtors.
