Florida man arrested for threatening to kill Donald Trump and JD Vance days after rally shooting

A man has been arrested for allegedly making death threats against Donald Trump and his VP choice JD Vance mere days after the scary gunfire incident at a Pennsylvania rally.

The suspect, identified as Michael W. Wiseman, was nabbed in Jupiter, Florida , just 20 miles up the road from Trump's swanky Mar-a-Lago digs in Palm Beach.

Wiseman stands accused of threatening to kill the GOP bigwigs following an attempt on Trump's life last Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Allegedly, Wiseman had made some terrifying comments "concerning bodily harm" aimed at folks related to Trump and Vance, according to police.

Police managed to collar the bloke in a joint operation with the Secret Service and the legal beagles from the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office, the investigators shared.

This unnerving update follows the shocking events of the previous weekend, when young Thomas Crooks was taken down by the Secret Service just moments after he started shooting at the ex-prez during a stump speech in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Trump, who is 78, narrowly escaped being seriously clobbered after the shooter's bullet grazed his ear and tragically killed one of his supporters in the throng, reports the Mirror US .

In a revealing turn, FBI sleuths have now told MPs that Crooks had been trolling the internet to get information on an unnamed member of the British Royal Family. His online recon didn't stop there; he'd also been checking out other notable figures such as Christopher Wray, the head honcho at the FBI, and Merrick Garland, the top lawyer for the US.

Investigators also found that Crooks' devices held images of Joe Biden and Mr Trump, as well as the dates of both rallies and the Democratic National Convention, which are set to occur in Chicago next month. US senators were informed that the 20-year-old assailant posted on the gaming network Steam: 'July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds.'

The FBI broke into Crooks' mobile phone, searched his computer, home, and car, and interviewed over 100 people, yet the mystery of why he unleashed gunfire at Trump's rally Saturday, injuring the GOP nominee, remained as puzzling as when it first occurred.

Crook's motive for the attack remains unclear as his political leanings were ambiguous. The shooter was registered as a Republican in Pennsylvania, but federal campaign finance reports also reveal he donated $15 to a progressive political action committee on January 20, 2021, the day Democratic President Joe Biden took office.

Without a clear understanding of what motivated Crooks, many from both sides of the American political spectrum attempted to fill the gap with their partisan assumptions, baseless speculations, and conspiracy theories in the days following the shooting.
