Quiet Zones In Jupiter Delayed, No Reason Given

The Town of Jupiter says the Federal Railroad Administration is delaying the approval of quiet zones at several crossings.

That means that residents will continue to hear horns every time Brightline trains move through and that is on average 32 times a day. The quiet zones were expected to be approved on Thursday.

No reason was given for the delay. Town officials had previously stated that inspectors had found no issues to prevent the quiet zones from being implemented.
