Justin Hartley Teases Jensen Ackles' Return to 'Tracker' After Season Premiere

Justin Hartley is back on our TV screens as Colter Shaw with the return of CBS’ hit series Tracker , and he’s teasing the imminent return of fan-favorite costar Jensen Ackles .

If you were unaware, the Supernatural alum plays Colter’s estranged older brother Russell. He’s back in action as a recurring guest star for the show’s second season.

In an interview that ran after the October 13 season premiere, Justin teased one conversation that Colter and Hunter would be having on our screens.

He also reflected on the evolution of the brothers’ relationship.

Speaking to TV Line , Justin confirmed that the brothers would discuss paperwork about their father that their sister Dory (Melissa Roxburgh) hid. The documents came to light during the first season finale earlier this year.

“Well, Colter is going to bring it up to him — and he’s going to bring it up for two reasons,” Justin teased. “Number one, to let him know. But I think, also, to see if [Russell] doesn’t know [about it], what does he think of it? And if he did know [about it], why didn’t he tell Colter?”

He continued, saying, “Colter is very skeptical of everyone in his family now, including Russell. I mean, they definitely broke bread, and they’re definitely back on decent terms, but they don’t keep in touch necessarily. They don’t call, they don’t write…. but I think his opinion of his brother has completely changed.”
