It’s a new season for The Sports Page Steakhouse in Coweta, Oklahoma. This local favorite has been around since 2005 and now, they will be serving new traditions as well as long-time classics.

When Jeff the founder of The Sports Page decided to retire, Matt and Eric stepped in to keep it cooking. Matt, an executive chef, and Eric, a food sales rep, have over 20 years of experience in the food service industry. They have been long-time fans of The Sports Page and when the opportunity arose, they knew they could take the ball and run with it.

Matt and Eric take a lot of care to bring Coweta the best menu items like New York Strip Steak, Chicken Fried steak, Fried Shrimp, and the most tender, juicy, flavorful Ribeye Steak that you will ever sink your teeth into.

The cooking experience shows through in the best specialty burger around and they are served with hand-cut fries. If you’re looking for something different, my favorite menu item is the Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad.

Heading through Coweta to fish Ft Gibson Lake? Stop in for a sure catch on your way. Tuesdays are all-you-can-eat catfish, you can choose from fried, grilled, or blackened. And this catch comes with fresh-cut fried, hush puppies and coleslaw.

They have knocked it out of the Park with the Wednesday night special. It’s 2 for $25.00

night and you can’t beat that price! You get two entrees, one appetizer, and a choice of side for each.

The Sports Page Steakhouse offers a banquet room that is a great place for a team huddle. This private room can seat around 40. Matt says this is a popular meeting room, so schedule ahead because their roster fills up fast.

Something new they have added is homemade desserts. These desserts are decadent and delicious. They offer the best from dreamy Coconut Cream Pie and Cheesecake to the perfect Carrot Cake or Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding. But there is one cake that stands out in the crowd, it is a cake like no other cake, the delectable, rich, and chocolatey Chocolate Eclair Cake

One stop at the Sports Page just isn’t enough. The pride and dedication to making this restaurant a hometown hangout and top-notch eatery is evident. Matt and Eric want to make this a place where people can relax, enjoy great food, watch a game and maybe even make new friends.

This family-friendly restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and closed on Sundays. The Sports Page is located at 13747 S, State Highway 51, Coweta, OK.
