A&E is set to premiere an intense two-hour special , Cold Case Files: The Grim Sleeper , expanding its renowned true crime series. Lonnie Franklin, Jr. was the notorious serial killer who terrorized women in South Central Los Angeles for 25 years. Franklin, who became known as “The Grim Sleeper,” preyed on vulnerable women, leaving a trail of fear and tragedy in his wake.

Premiering Friday, November 8 at 9pm ET/PT, this documentary promises to explore not only the crimes but also the community’s fight for justice. Through in-depth interviews with survivors, victims’ families, and rare archival footage, viewers will get a closer look at the devastating impact of these murders.
