BRYAN, Texas — A man received a near maximum sentence from a Brazos County jury for multiple crimes he had committed since 2021. According to the Brazos County District Attorney's Office, Jackie Joe Robinson had multiple run-ins with the law prior to his trial on Jan. 10. In one instance, on April 4, 2021, he was arrested after being discovered with roughly 3.5 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Although he was not driving the car, both Robinson and the driver were arrested by College Station Police.
