Multiple early morning house fires in Portland
Not long after picking up the equipment from the second alarm fire in the Humboldt Neighborhood, crews were dispatched to a fire in the Sylvan-Highland Neighborhood. At 7:26 a.m. this morning crews were called to a reported house fire in the hills just north of W. Burnside (200 block of Macleay Blvd). As crews responded they could see a column of smoke in the air and dispatch was reporting that there were potential victims inside this home. Due to this report, AMR was dispatched in addition to first alarm companies.

The Oregon State gymnast had a heartbreaking fall during her floor routine among several other uncharacteristic mistakes. Carey finished the day last out of all floor competitors and will not have the chance to defend her title as the reigning gold medalist on floor from the 2021 Tokyo Games.
Apartment building catches fire in Vancouver; five families displaced
VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) - An apartment building caught fire early Sunday morning, according to the Vancouver Fire Department. Firefighters responded to the scene at the Greenwood Manor Apartments on East 18th Street at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, with fire visible from the second floor rear window of the two-story building.
