LEELANAU COUNTY, MI – The body of a missing kayaker has been recovered from Lake Michigan. According to the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office, Eric Tyler Gabryel, 28, of Capac was found in 109 feet of water off Glen Arbor at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. The U.S. Forest Service is mulling the proposal, which will be reviewed by a citizen’s advisory committee made up of a broad array of recreation interest groups.
