South Christian's Carson Vis commits to Western Michigan

South Christian High School wing Carson Vis has committed to play basketball at Western Michigan University. Vis will be a senior this fall at South Christian after helping lead the Sailors to the district finals last year.

Vis was first-team all-state and selected to the Grand Rapids dream team. He averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game last year.

Interview with Carson Vis:

"I talked with my family, coaches and the close people around me and late last night I felt the need to commit to Western. I called all the coaches and let them know and they were very happy and I'm very happy to go there. It is definitely a weight off of my shoulders," Vis said.

"I love the coaching staff. I love all the people on the team. I love the way they play and everything that comes with it."

Vis is the second player to commit to Western Michigan for the class of 2025.
