VERNAL — One woman is dead and her adult daughter is missing after recreating at Swim Beach on Flaming Gorge Reservoir. About 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sweetwater County dispatchers in Wyoming received a 911 call reporting a possible drowning at the reservoir. The call was then transferred to Vernal dispatchers, who relayed the information to Daggett County Sheriff's Office, Flaming Gorge Ambulance and Green River Fire Department.
Woman in her 70s ejected from vehicle in Taylorsville crash
TAYLORSVILLE— A woman in her 70s was ejected from a vehicle after being hit by another car and taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to Taylorsville police. Her husband, who was also in the car, sustained moderate injuries and the driver of the other vehicle had a broken thumb. Both were also taken to the hospital.
