Army mom surprises Levelland High School Senior at lunch

LEVELLAND, Texas — A Levelland High School senior was attending lunch Friday when she was welcomed with a surprise she never saw coming.

After being deployed for nine months in the Army, Mykka Bihl’s mother, Vanessa Castillo, traveled three days from Kuwait, Africa, where she was stationed, to Levelland to see her daughter graduate on May 17.

In a post from Levelland ISD , Castillo said she is thrilled to be here and will spend time with her daughter and the rest of her family.
