    Hobbs roadways closed this week as crews work to repaint markings

    LUBBOCK, Texas — Hobbs drivers can expect closures and delays as several roadways are getting restriped and remarked, according to the City of Hobbs.

    Work will begin on Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be complete by the end of the day Friday, May 17.

    Shallowater farm hosts Sunflower Days Maze

    Hobbs said the following roadways will be remarked and restriped:

    • Joe Harvey Boulevard from Lovington Highway to Dal Paso Street.
    • Turner Street from Lovington Highway to Harden Boulevard.
    • Bender Boulevard from West County Road to Lovington Highway.

    Drivers should observe all traffic control devices in the area.
