North Lubbock rollover leaves one seriously injured, LPD said

LUBBOCK, Texas — One person was seriously injured following a rollover on Wednesday at Clovis Road and North Indiana Avenue, according to the Lubbock Police Department desk.

LPD said the call came in at 7:53 p.m.

According to a statement from the Texas Tech Police Department, this incident started as a traffic stop on campus. When the vehicle in question left the scene, TTPD began a pursuit, which ended in a crash after the pursuit was called off.

An LBK alert said westbound traffic was closed from Clovis Road to North Indiana Avenue. Drivers should seek alternate routes.

TTPD will work with the Lubbock Police Department Major Crash Unit to investigate this incident.
