Another new coffee shop makes its way to Lubbock area

LUBBOCK, Texas — The Human Bean, a new Lubbock coffee shop, will open in the Hub City at 7019 82nd Street in the fall. Local owner, Andrea Joslin, said the business will open within the next couple of months.

Joslin said the area near Wolfforth needed a coffee spot. The coffee shop hopes to be a stop for those in Wolfforth making the commute to Lubbock, and everyone else in between.

The coffee shop will offer coffee, tea, smoothies and energy drinks, said Joslin.

This will be the first Human Bean location in Lubbock. There are three locations across the Midland and Odessa area.

The business plans to partner with various local organizations to do four community give-back events a year.

The Human Bean aims to inspire human connections. The shop is run by human beings, taking care of human beings, Joslin said.
