Pavement repairs on 82nd Street to begin on Monday

LUBBOCK, Texas — West Texas Paving Inc., under contract with the City of Lubbock will begin pavement repairs on 82nd Street, from Frankford Avenue to Milwaukee Avenue, according to a press release.

Repairs starting Monday will require changes to traffic flow during construction.

The release said appropriate signage and barricades will be in place around the work zone. Drivers were urged to allow extra time for delays or to find alternate routes.

Pavement repairs will take about one week to complete depending on weather and construction, the release added.
