New Deal hosts annual fallen first responder remembrance walk

LUBBOCK, Texas — The New Deal Volunteer Fire Department and EMS will host the 5th annual fallen first responder remembrance run and walk. The event posting said the walk will be on Saturday, August 31 at 9 a.m. at 105 East Main Street in New Deal.

The event will have a one-mile walk, a 5K and a 10K race. First responders are encouraged to walk in full uniform or gear.
