Bovina Police Chief arrested, accused of tampering with government records

BOVINA, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that Bovina Police Chief Joe Orozco was arrested by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday.

According to DPS, Orozco was accused of three counts of tampering with government records. Orozco was taken to the Parmer County jail, but was no longer listed in the roster as of Sunday.
