    Fall festivities in Lubbock and the South Plains to attend in September

    LUBBOCK, Texas– With the weather cooling down to ring in the ‘Ber’ months in Lubbock and the South Plains, many festivities around the area are preparing to open to the public.

    Here is a list of fun fall activities to attend to in September.

    Fall Sip & Shop — McPherson Cellars is hosting its Fall Sip & Shop to the public to attend for free. Enjoy wine and shop local vendors at the event.

    September 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    What’s the latest in the pumpkin capital of the US?

    54th Annual Fall Festival– The Garden & Arts Center will host its 54th Annual Fall Festival free for the public. The festival welcomes all artists to display and sell their work.

    September 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Location:  4215 University Avenue

    At’l Do Farms– Lubbock’s annual corn maze at At’l Do Farms returns in September for a family-friendly event. Challenge yourself going through the corn maze, check out the farm animals and so much more.

    September 14- November 9, Tuesday- Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Oddities Movie Watch Party: Coraline– The Oddities Art Market is hosting a fun watch party for the public. Bring a chair, blanket or pillow to watch in the CASP studio!

    September 15 at 7:00 p.m.

    Location 408 Avenue J, CASP Studio F

    The Oddities Art Market Fall 2024– The Charles Adams Studio Project will host its Fall showcase of The Oddities Art Market with over 35+  artists, food trucks, performers and more.

    September 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

    Location: 5&J Gallery, 1106 5th Street

    Nightmare on 19th Streets 2nd Annual Dark Market– Local vendors will display and sell spooky and special crafts.

    September 28 at 6:00 p.m.

    Location: 602 E 19th Street
