Clovis, Hobbs mentioned in best small cities to live

LUBBOCK, Texas — Clovis and Hobbs, New Mexico was mentioned in WalletHub’s list of the best small cities to live in America.

Compared with more than 1,300 U.S. cities, Clovis was ranked in the ninth percentile while Hobbs was ranked in the second percentile, 99th percentile being the best.

Clovis had a total score of 49.72, according to the survey. The city earned an affordability rank of 684, an economic health rank of 1082, an education and health rank of 1274, an 849 for quality of love and a safety rank of 1023.

Hobbs had a total score of 46.46, WalletHub said. The city was ranked 450 for its affordability, 785 for its economic health rank and 728 for its quality of life. The city fell short in its safety rank which was 1301 and its education and health rank with 1293.
