Federal court records stated LPD and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) had been investigating Morrison’s narcotics distribution operation since July of 2023. In March of 2024, the DEA and LPD investigators executed a warrant at Morrison’s home. According to court records, authorities found 16,300 net grams of meth, 8,064 blue M-30 fentanyl pills and approximately three pounds of marijuana.
