Momotaro All-You-Can-Eat offers a taste of China to Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas — Momotaro All-You-Can-Eat officially opened in Lubbock on Tuesday, October 15. The restaurant specializes in sushi, hot pot and hibachi.

Co-owner, Vanessa Hu said Momotaro is one of the first restaurants in Lubbock to offer hot pot.

With the hot pot, customers can cook meats and vegetables at their table. Hu, who is from the South of China, said hot pot is very popular there and she’s excited to have a bit of her hometown in Lubbock.

“We want to bring new things to the Lubbock people,” Hu said.

Hu and her husband decided to open Momotaro after previously working in the sushi industry. It was a labor of love to open Momotaro. Hu and her husband worked for about a year before the grand opening.

“I hope everyone can support us,” Hu said. “We want to make our restaurant better and better.”

Momotaro is located at 8004 Indiana Avenue, Suite B18. The restaurant said it will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Take a look at Momotaro’s menu here .
