    Man leads Lubbock County deputies on pursuit, arrested in Lynn County

    LUBBOCK, Texas — A pursuit involving the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office ended in the arrest of 41-year-old Michael Short in Lynn County Friday afternoon.

    LCSO said it attempted to make a traffic stop with Short’s vehicle at about 2:46 p.m. Short refused to stop, leading deputies on a pursuit. The pursuit lasted 25 minutes, ultimately ending at the intersection of FM 211 and CR X in Lynn County.

    Short was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center and charged with Evading Arrest or Detention in a Vehicle, Reckless Driving and outstanding class C warrants.
