Containment of the Bench Lake Fire improves over Saturday
STANLEY, Idaho — On Saturday, the Bench Lake Fire continued to grow to 2,538 acres. The fire is now 13% contained, and 439 personnel are helping to fight it. According to Great Basin Team Four, strategic foresight and the correct complement of firefighting personnel bolstered containment efforts to 13%. MERIDIAN, Idaho — A man has been arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail for allegedly trying to flee when police found him nodding off in his car, with illegal drugs visible.
