TxDOT Amarillo ‘Know Before You Go’ report for the week of Sept. 9

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report for lane closures and detours expected during the week of Sept. 9.

According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected for the week include:

Tuesday, September 10

• Expect various lane closures throughout the week on westbound IH-40 at Tyler and Harrison streets for continued bridgework. The westbound IH-40 entrance ramp from northbound IH-27 will be closed during this time.

Throughout the Week

• Expect various lane closures in both directions of IH-27 as crews continue paving operations.

TxDOT advised drivers to be cautious and reduce speed through all work zones, and be aware of possible crews or working vehicles on or near the roadways.
