After a dominate performance in a homecoming game for White-Tinsley on both sides of the ball, he credits his teams ability to execute their game plan entering the game.

“Our execution, our game plans. We knew that going into that game that all we had to do is just keep our offense moving and defense just be aggressive and just kind of just don’t lay back and bring the energy like every play, no matter what, if it’s a big run or a little small little detail, just keep the energy up and throughout the whole game,” said White-Tinsley.

Head Coach for the Wolves Adam Cummings shared his thoughts on Kane’s big game stating that this level of play is expected from him.

“You know, Kane’s a two way player for us, and he plays on special teams too we expect a lot out of him. Early in his high school career you know, he’s kind of been plagued by injuries,” said Cummings. “You know, last year was his first year to really make it through a season and he produced for us, as a sophomore, and we knew going into his junior year that he was going to be a big contributor for us, and we have high expectations for him.”

Coach Cummings adds that White-Tinsley’s work ethic and attention to detail is how he’s able to perform at a high level.

“Really the reason he was able to do that is because of his work ethic and his attention to detail. You know, he’s, he’s one of those kids that always brings good energy and a good vibe. And you know, we’ve, we’ve really been proud of his progress this year,” said Cummings.

As a star on both sides of the ball, Kane is not able to take a play off, knowing this motivates him to make plays for his team.

“It helps me just, kind of just keep the energy up. I know that I’ll get tired here and there, but just knowing that I have to produce on both ends of the ball, just kind of keeps my mindset, right. And that knowing that I have to, I can’t just, I can’t take one play off, that I have to keep going no matter what,” said White-Tinsley.

After a big game, Coach Cummings detailed their keys to continue success throughout the season.

“We just need Kane to continue to do what he’s been doing and just build, build good days on top of good days, you know? And he kind of mentioned that earlier, and I think that’s a big deal for us. Is just consistency. We’ve got to learn to be consistent. We’re a young team, and I think our kids are starting to understand that,” said Cummings. “But the more that we put good days on top of good days, the more progress we make and and the more improvement we see. And so that’s what we need from him, from a leadership standpoint, from a from a player on both sides of the ball.”

The Wolves have a tough week coming up, traveling to play an undefeated Bushland team.

“The opportunity to play a team like Bushland is exciting for us. You know, one of the most successful and storied programs in the Panama over the past 20 years, and the success that they’ve had, you know, that’s what we want to try to replicate here at West Plains. And so they’re kind of a measuring stick for us. And so we feel like, if we can go into that game and match their intensity, match their execution, and just match their overall quality, you know, it gives us a pretty good idea of where we’re at and what we need to do. And, you know, I think it kind of sets us up well for the remainder of the year,” said Cummings.

Kane detailed his thoughts on the keys the Wolves need to beat a tough team like Bushland.

“Just execution. It’s execution, assignment, alignment. If we get those three down, I think we can go out there and produce and knowing our offense and how we run things and coach Lyles and just our defense, just coming with energy every play,” said White-Tinsley.

After a great performance, Kane shared what he did following the game to prepare himself for another big game.

“We went over film and some of the plays, we knew that I took some plays off and that I shouldn’t have,” said White-Tinsley. “Just knowing that during practice that I can’t take the play off and open just to repeat every game and stack more games on top.”

According to Rivals.com two major division one schools are showing interest in Kane after taking unofficial visits to both Texas Tech and Oklahoma University.
