Panhandle PBS, FM90 hosts costume drive for children in need

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Panhandle PBS and FM90 announced the first-ever Halloween Costume Drive to collect new or gently used costumes and distribute them to children in need.

According to officials, Panhandle PBS will accept donations from Sept. 3 to Oct. 14. Costumes can be dropped off at the Panhandle PBS studios located at 2408 S Jackson, Monday to Friday from 1-4 p.m.

Further, the costumes will be distributed on Friday, Oct. 18, from 3-5 p.m. at the Panhandle PBS studio. One costume per child, and the child must be present to choose the costume.

Officials state the costume drive will have snacks, treat bags and a drawing for two free family memberships to support Panhandle PBS. Family memberships have access to PBS Passport, free educational family resources and monthly e-newsletter for family members. Those who donate a costume or come to get a costume for a child can enter the drawing.
