Deadline extended for Sunshine for Charlotte 5K, Fun Run/Walk

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The deadline for the Sunshine for Charlotte 5K and Fun Run/Walk has been extended until Oct. 21.

The race is set to start at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 at Amarillo Medical Center Park. Registration includes a race shirt, finisher medal for the 5K, breakfast, and a parking lot after the party.

The event includes a time 5K with the one-mile fun walk and run for kids and families following the timed run. The parking lot party will conclude the event where there will be food trucks, trunk-or-treating, music, and games.
