ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A Kannapolis man known to authorities for previous convictions and ongoing criminal cases is now facing drug trafficking charges, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).

In June 2024, detectives kicked off a month-long investigation into Marion Dajuan Feaster’s activities, which they say led them to buy trafficking amounts of methamphetamine from Feaster multiple times in both Rowan and Cabarrus Counties.

Repeat rapist sentenced to 4–10 years for three assaults in Mooresville, Lincoln County

On July 22, Feaster was arrested after allegedly delivering about 256 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine to a Dollar General parking lot. He is charged with the following:

    • At least two counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine
    • Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance
    • Possession of Marijuana between 0.5 and 1.5 oz
    • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
    • Resist/Delay/Obstruct a Public Officer—Non-Assault

In North Carolina, anyone with more than 28 grams of methamphetamine can be charged with trafficking the substance.

Feaster is being held without bond at the Rowan County Detention Center due to the Pretrial Integrity Act. He is expected in court on August 14.

At the time of this arrest, Feaster was out on bond for unrelated charges in Stanly, Cabarrus and Mecklenburg Counties. He was previously convicted in Cabarrus County of the following:

    • Sell/Deliver Cocaine
    • Attempted 2nd Degree Kidnapping
    • Attempted Common Law Robbery
    • Felony Breaking and/or entering

He has previously spent 6 years and 10 months in prison for federal firearm violations and was released from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in October 2022.

The RCSO Special Investigation Unit, the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and the RCSO Patrol and Civil Divisions were all part of the investigation.
