    Kansas City, Kansas, police officer injured in stabbing

    UPDATE: 10:30A.M. KCK police say the officer has been released from the hospital. Anyone who may have been in the area of East Patrol at the time and may have seen anything is encouraged to contact police.

    Kansas City, Kansas, police are looking for a man who stabbed an officer late Sunday night.

    Police said an officer was just ending his shift when he was approached by a man acting bizarre in the parking lot.

    The man then attacked the officer with a sharp object, per KCKPD.

    Police said the officer received two non-life-threatening stab wounds before the suspect fled northbound from the location.

    He has not been found.
