It follows the success of Amazon Prime's exclusive streaming-only broadcasts of <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/sport/9098301/fans-fume-unwatchable-amazon-tnf-coverage/">Thursday Night Football.</a><a href="https://www.the-sun.com/sport/10040201/nbc-announce-major-nfl-broadcast-change-wild-card-weekend/">Peacock</a> and the NFL signed a bumper $110 million deal in May last year to let the company show one Saturday night playoff game on their platform. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate>But a fuming Omenihu took to X on Sunday night to let his feelings known on the move.He wrote, "Us playing on peacock ONLY is insane I won’t lie."Fans were quick to respond to the outburst with one agreeing, "Yeah it's kinda crazy."Another said, "I got Oeacock but I’m not happy about the cash grab happening. Next will be pay per view [Super Bowl]?"And a third added, "Money talks."Fans in the Kansas City and Miami areas will be able to watch the game for free on their local NBC affiliates.But that doesn't help supporters who live in different parts of the country. A disappointed fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, explained, "My dad is a die-hard Chiefs fan and his elderly. He lives in the country where they do not even offer internet in rural Missouri. Shame on the NFL and thank you for saying something. He is very upset."<nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate>And a second agreed, 'Even though I'll watch Chiefs on my local KC NBC, don't think it's ok for Peacock to force those outside of KC to pay to watch Chiefs-Dolphins. It's a PLAYOFF game. #Arrowhead should have free national coverage."The Chiefs are the defending <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/topic/super-bowl/">Super Bowl</a> champions but have struggled to reach the lofty heights of last season in 2023. They topped the AFC West with a record of 11-6, but went 5-4 at home in Arrowhead. Omenihu has enjoyed a strong campaign on defense since making the switch from the San Francisco 49ers last summer.
