The Kansas City Chiefs players, staff, and fans were all enjoying the Super Bowl parade after they vanquished the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

With the majority of the celebrations taking part near the famous Union Station in Kansas City, it all went south when gunshots were heard, and people were sent fleeing for their lives.

One woman, Kansas City DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, lost her life, and over 20 others, which mostly included children, were injured and then taken to hospital to receive treatment.

It was supposed to be one of the best days of their lives as fans were seen wearing No. 15 jerseys and celebrating the Chiefs' back-to-back Super Bowl wins, but it quickly turned into a horror movie.

As the entire planet rallies around Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are doing their part and have been snapped visiting with the children injured in the shooting.

Taylor Swift, girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has donated $100,000 to the Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial as the family comes to grips with what has happened.

The Super Bowl parade was supposed to be a time of celebration and fun as thousands of fans gathered likely from all over the country to come together and get a glimpse of their heroes.

But things took a very dark turn and now the events in Kansas City have many wondering if there will be another Super Bowl parade due to the security concerns.
