ANNUAL STRINGTOWN PICNINC THIS SUNDAY
(STRINGTOWN) The Annual Stringtown Picnic is this coming Sunday, running from 11:00 to 6:00, at the air-conditioned St. Joseph Parish Center. The all-you-can-eat smorgasbord meal with include beef, ham, homemade noodles, and much more with serving from 11:00 to 2:00 and carryouts available. Tickets are $13.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 5 to 10, and free for children ages 4 and under. Also a basket stand, bingo, various raffles, kids games, a beer garden, live music, inflatables, and other food like pork burgers, brats, ice cream, & more. All ages are welcome out to the Stringtown Picnic this coming Sunday, northeast of Olney.

Local professor part of excavation effort in ancient city of Pompeii
