Mathews, a native of Leesville, Louisiana played for the Ragin' Cajuns from 2011-15 where she appeared in 100 games, posted a career 55-11 record, a 1.99 ERA, 40 complete games, 10 shutouts, 389 strikeouts, and 447.2 innings pitched.
