I can relate to this sick story. Too bad we can’t get granted forgiveness for taking some out! Just saying but two wrongs don’t make a right I know but nothing can heal that bad sore like domestic abuse ever idc what anyone says I’m still dealing with the aftermath of a 7 year mentally physically and emotionally abusive partner who is still free walking the streets and every women before and after allSame thing but still free! Sick system we have. a restraining order or order forProtection well could have wiped my a$s with them because he never abided by any of the 12 I had against him. In fear of him killing my grandparents and juvenile cousin who was under hospice care and my abuser pouring gasoline around their home and calling and threatening from outside to light it up as house filled with fumes of gas and ran before police arrived I in middle of night movedMe and three small boys of mine to safety and fled the creep. He’s nowIn same town doesn’t know any of his boys 2 ofThem

After my ex took a plea deal where he only sat 23 months after chasing me with a knife, giving me a concussion (when I was pregnant) and telling me I was going to watch our daughter die- with witnesses, the weapon found, and my face beaten…. They released my abuser 8 miles from my apartment, did not notify me at all. The system fails everybody involved for these situations. Put them in Saint Peter Mental Hospital indefinitely. My heart goes out to this young woman and I’m thankful she made it through all of this. The strength to face him in court, incredibly courageous!
