Flavor Flav to start World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hot Springs next year

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Hip Hop personality Flavor Flav will be in Hot Springs to kick off the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade next year.

Parade officials named the Hall of Fame rapper and tv personality as the official starter for the parade on March 17, 2025.

“Flavor Flav is one of the most recognizable legends in entertainment, and in March he will bring his contagious energy to our big little parade,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said Monday. “He’ll be the perfect person to fire the official starter’s pistol when our parade steps off on 98-foot Bridge Street.”

This announcement comes after Flavor Flav made appearances at the Paris 2024 Olympics and committed to becoming a sponsor for USA Water Polo.

Flavor Flav is known for being a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning rap group Public Enemy and for hosting the reality dating show Flavor of Love.

Parade officials have not announced the parade’s grand marshal nor a live performance lineup.
