LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The American Legion Legacy Run is full throttle on it’s more than 1,000-mile journey from Missouri to Louisiana.

The legacy run is a convoy of motorcycles making their way to New Orleans.

400 American Legion members and their bikes are making stops at veteran’s homes and raising money at American Legion posts.

They are also carrying a Vietnam veteran moving wall.

Here in Arkansas, they stopped at Turpentine Creek.

Board member Dave Schoonover was a legacy rider and veteran who passed away a few years ago, so they gave a hat tip there.

Then they hit famed Highway 23 and even cleared things up on the way into Russellville.
