    Pine Bluff police officer, school bus driver involved in Monday morning crash

    PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Police in Pine Bluff said that an officer and a school bus driver were involved in a Monday morning crash.

    According to the Pine Bluff Police Department, a crash between an officer with the PBPD and a school bus driver happened on Dollarway Road near Phyllis Street just after 8 a.m.

    Officers said that there were no children on the bus at the time of the crash, but the driver was taken to a local hospital for assessment. The officer was also taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition, police said.

    Officers are asking drivers in the area to take an alternate route.
