Central Arkansas Library System re-opens Sue Cowan Williams Library

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Central Arkansas Library System confirmed that the Sue Cowan Williams Library located in downtown Little Rock re-opened Thursday.

This re-opening comes after it had to close temporarily because of damage from a fire that Little Rock Fire Department officials said they believe was set intentionally.

A representative with the department said that they do have a person of interest they are looking for.

Officials said that most of the damage came from a fire that started in the mechanical closet and that crews were able to stop the flames before they spread to the books.
