    Maumelle police presence expected at schools after report of threat

    MAUMELLE, Ark. – Police in Maumelle said that an increased police presence will be at local schools Monday morning after receiving a report of a threat made to one of the schools in the jurisdiction.

    In an update made by the Maumelle Police Department , officials said a person of interest has been identified in connection with a threat made to a school. Investigators did not specify which school received the threat.

    Russellville school safety protocol on alert after social media threat, arrest

    Police said they were notified of an unspecified threat to a school in Maumelle Sunday night.

    Detectives said they are working with the Pulaski County Special School District, Maumelle Charter School and other schools in the jurisdiction during the investigation.
