Moncrief said that the forum is a monthly initiative that brings together eight to twelve entrepreneurs from central Arkansas to meet, and it provides “a safe space to talk about the joy and the pain of entrepreneurship.”

“They are very important to our community in a number of ways,” Moncrief said. “What we try to do is try to provide for them, not only education as it relates to entrepreneurship and leadership, but also in opportunity to support one another with their businesses.”

One forum member in attendance was Brittany Wolfe, owner of Painting with a Twist West Little Rock, who said that the forums provide a way to brainstorm alongside other professionals to help her business.

“I would say just being able to share ideas, especially in the marketing realm, I feel like that is definitely one area where I’m always trying to improve,” Wolfe said. “It’s just really nice to see how other professionals are doing it.”

Troy Baker, owner of Troy Baker Photography said that his favorite part about the forum is networking and making new friends.

“It gives you an opportunity to network with other business owners,” Baker said. “Everything is not about money, it’s about networking, it’s about contacts and getting to meet people and getting to know people.”
