    Pulaski County Clerk’s Office hosting voter registration event ahead of Election Day

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – As Election Day nears, officials in Pulaski County are pushing for voices to be heard with a voter registration event Tuesday.

    Sept. 17 is National Voter Registration Day, and the Pulaski County Clerk’s Office is hosting the event in hopes of encouraging more citizens to cast their votes at the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

    Federal judge restores Arkansas voter registration ‘Wet Signature’ requirement

    The event will be held in the parking lot of 2nd and Spring Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will be able to register to vote and check their voter status while enjoying food and entertainment.

    Officials with the clerk’s office said that groups will set up seven pop-up sites at colleges and universities in the county to help students register.

    Residents also have other options to register to vote including their local county clerk, revenue office and public library.
