    Arkansas man arrested for allegedly making bomb threat against Florida high school

    COCOA BEACH, Fla. – Police in Florida said a man from Clark County is facing charges for making a bomb threat against a high school last week.

    According to a release from the Cocoa Beach Police Department , Phillip Taylor of Arkadelphia was arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat against Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School on Sept. 17.

    On Sept. 17, CBPD officials said they received a report of a bomb threat posted on social media and the school was immediately evacuated as a precaution.

    CBPD officials said their Criminal Investigations Division identified the suspect as Taylor and an arrest warrant was obtained.

    Authorities said the Arkadelphia Police Department arrested Taylor on Monday morning and noted he will be extradited to the Brevard County Jail in Florida where he will await trial.
