    Arkansas State Fair returns in October, announces discount days and concert lineup

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – It is almost time for concerts, food, livestock competitions and carnival rides as the Arkansas State Fair returns for its 84 th year next month.

    The fair is set to open daily at 11 a.m. from Oct. 11 – 20. Standard admission is set at two different prices, advance price and at the gate, for adults, seniors and children. Standard parking at the fairgrounds is set to cost $10, and premium will be $20, aside from certain daily promotions offers.

    • Adults: Advance Price $8 / Gate Price $12
    • Seniors (Age 60+): Advance Price $4 / Gate Price $6
    • Children (Age 6-12): Advance Price $4 / Gate Price $6
    • Free parking and admission weekdays 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Arkansas State Fair announces 2024 concert lineup

    Fair organizers announced a variety of daily specials Wednesday that organizers say are designed to allow families to save.

    Below is a list of the discount days and daily promotions at the Arkansas State Fair.

    • Friday, Oct. 11:
      • KARK 4 News and FOX 16 News will kick off the daily discount days with RIDE DAY. From 11 a.m. to close, buying a $35 armband gets fairgoers unlimited rides all day.
      • LUNCH AT THE FAIR sponsored by Entergy allows patrons to get free parking and admission from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
      • “6 at 6” presented by 96.5 THE BOX gives adults to opportunity to receive $6 gate admission from 6-7 p.m.
    • Saturday, Oct. 12
      • POWER 92.3/102.1 KOKY/PRAISE 102.5 RIDE DAY from 11 a.m. to close, buying a $35 armband gets fairgoers unlimited rides all day.
      • POWER 92 POWER PACK offers fairgoers 92 minutes of free admission for children 12 and under from 11 a.m. to 12:32 p.m.
    • Sunday, Oct. 13
      • THE POINT 94.1, AY and AMP MAGAZINE RIDE DAY from 11 a.m. to close, buying a $35 armband gets fairgoers unlimited rides all day.
      • BANK OZK DAY AT THE FAIR gives all Bank OZK employees who present a valid Bank OZK Employee I.D. or any Bank OZK customer who presents a Bank OZK debit/credit card will receive $2 off gate admission. This discount valid only for 4 persons per party.
    • Monday, Oct. 14
      • Kids ages 6 and under can ride the Kiddie Rides free from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Free gate admission 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for adults bringing children. Parking included.
      • THE POINT 94.1 TWO DOLLAR DAY gives attendees gate admission, parking and rides for only $2 each.
    • Tuesday, Oct. 15
      • MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY sponsored by Triple S Alarm and the Edwards Family gives free gate admission for military personnel and up to three immediate family members with a valid I.D.
      • SENIOR DAY SPONSORED BY PRIMEWELL HEALTH SERVICES gives free gate admission for all Seniors age 65+ on this day.
      • HOT 94.9 TUESDAY buy a special $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.
    • Wednesday, Oct. 16
      • 100.3 THE EDGE RIDE DAY gives fairgoers the opportunity to buy a $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.
      • KSSN 96 LADIES NIGHT OUT gives ladies 21 years of age or older free admission from 6 p.m. to close.
    • Thursday, Oct. 17
      • iHEART RADIO THRILL THURSDAY SPONSORED BY 100.3 THE EDGE, KSSN 96, 105.1 THE WOLF AND HOT 94.9 gives fairgoers the opportunity to buy a $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.
      • 100.3 THE EDGE COLLEGE NIGHTS gives free gate admission t college students with valid school IDs from 6 p.m. to close.
    • Friday, Oct. 18
      • 103.7 THE BUZZ/106.7 THE BUZ2 AND ARKANSAS CANCER COALITION RIDE DAY gives fairgoers the opportunity to buy a $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.
      • $3 Fair admission sold at gates from 1 p.m. to close for all school children through 12th grade.
    • Saturday, Oct. 19
      • KSSN 96 RIDE DAY gives fairgoers the opportunity to buy a $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.
      • FFA, FCCLA, SCOUT DAY, AND 4-H DAY gives $3 gate admission until 5 p.m. to FFA and FCCLA students, Scouts and 4-H members, including teachers, sponsors and bus drivers.
      • ENTERGY DAY AT THE FAIR provides all Entergy employees who present a valid Entergy Employee I.D. receive $2 off gate admission. Discount valid for 4 persons per party.
    • Sunday, Oct. 20
      • LEGENDS RESORT & CASINO AND 105.1 THE WOLF RIDE DAY gives fairgoers the opportunity to buy a $35 armband and get unlimited rides from 11 a.m. to close.

    State fair organizers also released the entertainment lineup for concerts at Barton Coliseum.
