LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – When country star Chase Rice takes the stage Sunday night at Barton Coliseum as part of the 2024 Arkansas State Fair, it will conclude a historic weekend that marked the return of live music to the venue that has brought many legendary acts to the Capital City.

In years past during the fair, the coliseum was the host to the Arkansas Livestock Show. In 2024 it was announced that it would also be hosting the Bank OZK Concert Series to kick off opening weekend.

On Friday night when the fair kicked off, the concert series at Barton Coliseum also broke its live music hiatus with hair metal icons Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Quiet Riot and Vixen. During the 80s both Ratt and Quiet Riot also made stops at the venue.

Saturday night, the coliseum hosted R&B stars Dru Hill and Ginuwine and it will conclude on Sunday with Rice and opener Ella Langley.
