LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Many families are enjoying the Arkansas State Fair, but of course it all comes with a price.

Fairgoers like Codi Sellers were able to save some money with offers like $2 Deal Day.

“I’d definitely advise people to come on a cheaper day” Sellers said.

On an average day it cost $10 for parking and to get through the gate, but on Monday you could do both for only $2.

“In these economic times especially it’s reasonably priced,” Jacob Wise said.

People could spend over 50 dollars on food and rides, but Payton Adams says she was able to make 40 dollars go far.

“I think about $30 to $40 is good. $5 for a drink $8 to $10 for food and whatever else you want,” Adams said. “I saved a whole bunch I was expecting to do 3 or 2 tickets, and they were like 1 ticket I’m saving money on that,” Adams said.

Fairgrounds leaders say with this being a record-breaking year for attendance they want to ensure families continue to enjoy themselves for a reasonable price.

The fair began in Little Rock on Friday, Oct. 11 and will continue until Sunday, Oct. 20. It will open daily at 11 a.m.

To purchase tickets, visit the fairgrounds box office or online at ArkansasStateFair.com .
